Leslie McWhirter is a product manager for three of Golden Software’s signature products: Grapher™, a 2D and 3D graphing and analysis program, Strater®, a program for scientists and engineers which displays raw data as borehole and well logs, boreholes and cross sections, and MapViewer™, a thematic mapping and spatial analysis tool that produces publication-quality maps for scientists, engineers, and business professionals. An experienced technical writer, she provides technical support, hosts product education webinars, and creates training videos for all six Golden Software products. Leslie joined Golden Software in 2012 as a customer support engineer and became a product manager in 2013.
Leslie graduated from Colorado School of Mines, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Geophysics. She has also completed the Maps and the Geospatial Revolution Coursera MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). In addition, Leslie is a member of GIS Colorado. She is a former member of the Seismological Society of America, the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and spending time with her husband, two kids, and cat.
