Error 1316 A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file D:\Surfer 8 Demo/msi is caused by the Surfer 8 demo version being installed when attempting to install the full version. You cannot have the demo version and the full version of Surfer 8 installed on the same computer at the same time.
Uninstall the Surfer 8 demo version using the Windows Control Panel prior to installing the full version.
