Yes, Didger 4 can import a MrSID file.
Didger 3
No, Didger 3 is not able to either import or export the MrSID format.
However, you can get the free ExpressView browser plug-in from LizardTech, the inventors of the MrSID format. You can use ExpressView to both view a MrSID and also convert it to a TIFF with a TFW world file.
Didger can then import the TIFF file and read the georeferencing information from the TFW world file.
