| How do I export vector cross hatch pattern fill to DXF in Surfer 8? | |||||||||
In File | Preferences | General, add a check mark to the option to Simulate stock hatch patterns for both workarounds. - Turn off the axes and choose File | Export to export a GSI file. Turn on the option to Render Vector Fills in the Golden Software Interchange Export dialog and click OK. ![]() Add a check mark to the Render Vector Fills option and click OK. Choose Map | Base Map and load the GSI file as a base map. Select the map, turn off the axes and export to DXF with the Selected objects only option enabled in the Export dialog box. - Turn off the axes and copy the map to the clipboard. Paste it back into the plot window and move and size the pasted metafile so it coincides with the original map. Select the original map, chose File | Export to export to a DXF file with Selected objects only enabled in the Export dialog box, and with the option to Save scaling info enabled in the AutoCAD DXF Export dialog box. Click OK. ![]() ![]() Add a check mark to the Save scaling info option and click OK. Select the metafile, choose File | Export, specify a DXF file name, check the Selected objects only option, and click OK. In the AutoCAD DXF Export dialog, change the Scaling source to Saved and click OK. ![]() Change the Scaling Source to Saved and click OK. ![]() |
