The boundary files included with MapViewer typically have identifying names stored in either the Primary ID (PID) or Secondary ID (SID) attributes of the objects. By default, these are not displayed on the map, but it is easy to have them shown.
Note in the Object Manager which attribute (PID or SID) you want displayed on the map. Go to View | Show Objects. In the Show Objects dialog, check the box for the attribute you want shown and click OK.
The attribute will be displayed using the default font settings. If you need to change the size or font, select the objects and change the properties in the Property Inspector. Typically, you can just use Edit | Select All (or Ctrl-A) and change them all at once.
