Golden Software does not currently sell a version of MapViewer that directly runs on a Linux machine. MapViewer is created for use on only Windows platforms. We have heard from several users that Golden Software products can operate using a Windows emulator. If you have a Windows emulator on your Linux machine, please try the MapViewer demo. If the demo works for you, the full version will, as well.
