To get a georeferenced image from Didger into Surfer you can do one of the following:

1.  (Didger 3) Once the image is georeferenced and imported into a vector project in Didger 3, go to File | Create Surfer Base Map.

2. (Didger 4) Once the image is georeferenced in Didger 4, go to Tools | Surfer | Create Base Map.

3. Import a georeferenced image (into a vector project if using Didger 3), go to View | Project Limits and make sure "Clip Map Objects During Export" is unchecked, and export to a Golden Software Interchange (*.GSI) file. Import the GSI file as a base map in Surfer.

4. Export from Didger as a regular TIF file. Import the TIF file into Surfer as a base map, double click on the base map, and respecify the XY min/max values to be the correct values

5. Export the TIF file from Didger saving the spatial reference information in an ESRI World File (*.tfw). Then you can use a script to import the TIF into Surfer as a base map using the coordinates stored in the TFW file. You can download the script from http://www.goldensoftware.com/public/scripts/surfer8/TifTfwExport3.bas. Just open the script in Surfer's Scripter program, go to Script | Run, select the TIF file and click Open.
