Georeferenced TIF files commonly save the spatial reference information in an ESRI World File (*.tfw). You cannot directly convert the projection of the image georeferneced with a TFW file because TFW files do not contain any projection information. TFW files only contain coordinate information.

The steps necessary to assign a projection to the georeferenced image file, convert the projection, and overlay it with other data files in Didger 3 are outlined in a Newsletter article on our web site: http://www.goldensoftware.com/newsletter/Issue50Dcvtimg.shtml

In Didger 4, go to File | Import, select the TIF file and click Open. In the Tagged Image (TIFF) Spatial References dialog, select ESRI World file for the Georeference Sources and click OK. In the Specify Image Projection dialog, select the correct projection and settings and click OK. The image is imported with the coordinates from the TIF file and in the selected projection.
