You can import an image or picture into the header or footer pane using File | Import.
In Strater 3, your image will be directly imported into the borehole view. You can drag and resize it however you see fit.
In Strater 2, Click File | Import, draw a rectangle around where you want the image to be placed in the log pane, select the desired image in the Import dialog and click Open. The image is imported. You can move it around or resize it to exactly what you want.
