To display well
locations on a map, add them as a post map. You will need a data file with at least the XY coordinates of each well.
- Create your map that you want to add the well locations to.
- Go to Map | Add | Post Map.
- Select the data file with the well locations and click Open. The post layer is added to the map.
- Select Post in the Object Manager and in the Property Manager edit any of the post layer properties (including selecting different XY columns, adding labels, changing the symbol shape, etc).
