The Transform module's Scale operation can operate around any point of an object.
For example, consider a data set with Z values as follows:
Z Min: 90 Z Max: 100 Range: 10 Midpoint: 95
Apply a Z Scale of 0.1 and the results are:
Z Min: 94.5 Z Max: 95.5 Range: 1 Midpoint: 95
The Z Min and Z Max are calculated by multiplying the Scale by the range, dividing by 2, and adding or subtracting from the midpoint.
