Broomfield County, Colorado, was created in 2001. The 1990 and 2000 census year county boundary files do not include Broomfield County because it did not exist then and there is no census data for those years.
Beginning with MapViewer 6.2, the MapViewer CD includes the file Boundaries\US County 2000\CO2001_HiRes.GSB which contains the counties of Colorado as of 2001, including Broomfield. If you do not have the MapViewer CD, the boundary files can also be downloaded from http://www.goldensoftware.com/boundary.shtml.
There are two methods to obtain the CO2001_HiRes.GSB file:
From the CD (version 6.2 or higher):
- Insert your MapViewer CD into
your computer.
- In the MapViewer Auto Setup dialog, click Boundary Files. This will
open the Boundaries dialog.
- In the Boundaries dialog, open the US County 2000 folder.
- Copy the CO2001_HiRes.GSB file
to your computer (suggested location: C:\Program Files\Golden
Software\MapViewer 7\Samples)
From Internet Download:
- Go to the Golden Software Boundary
File Downloads page: http://www.goldensoftware.com/boundary.shtml
- Follow the link for US County
2000.
- Download the file CO2000.zip.
- Unzip this file on your
computer, and locate the CO2001_HiRes.GSB file.
- Copy this file to your computer
(suggested location: C:\Program Files\Golden Software\MapViewer 7\Samples)
