Error message when closing Surfer under Windows Vista.

Vista prevented Surfer from saving settings to the surfer.set file when it resides in the C:\Program Files\ folder for Vista 32 or C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder for Vista 64.

Surfer version 8.09 fixes this problem. Log into the computer as Administrator, right click over surfer.exe and choose "Run as administrator". Once Surfer is opened, go to Help | Check for Update to connect to our servers and download the patch file to version 8.09 and start the installation process.
