In Strater 2, you can draw text objects in the log pane just as you can in the header or footer. Go to Draw | Text and click, in the log pane where you want the text to be placed.
In Strater 1, text objects can only be added to the header or footer panes. To add text notes to the log pane, create a complex text log. If you just want to add a little text based on a depth location, you could also create a post log and choose to show the text as keyword text.
