In the program:
Minor updates (e.g. version 1.00 to 1.01) may be downloaded for free if your serial number is registered. Connect your computer to the Internet, then click the Help | Check for Update command in Voxler. This will download the latest patch and install it on your machine. Information about the latest version is listed on the Version History (http://www.goldensoftware.com/voxlerhistory.shtml) page.
If you experience any problems with this command or would like to download the full version of the updated software, please email your registered Voxler serial number to voxlersupport@goldensoftware.com. Once your serial number is verified, we will send you download instructions.
If you are running Vista:
Voxler must be run as Administrator in order for the Help | Check for Update to work. To run Voxler as Administrator:
- Right click on the executable (c:\Program Files\Golden Software\Voxler\voxler.exe) and choose Properties.
- On the Compatibility tab, check the "Run this program as Administrator" box.
- Click OK and then open Voxler.
- Now, the Help | Check for Update command will download and install the update patch.
