There are many locations where script examples can be located.

Download Scripts for Surfer, Grapher, and MapViewer from our website:
Script Examples inside each program (Surfer, Grapher, MapViewer, Voxler):
  • In the program, go to Help | Contents to open the program help files.  Click on the Contents tab to see all of the help books.  Open the program Automation book, near the bottom of the list.  There are script examples and information on scripting located here.
  • There are sample scripts located by in the program's installation directory. The default location for Surfer 10, Grapher 9, and MapViewer 7 is C:\Program Files\Golden Software\Program\Samples\Scripts, where Program would be substituted with either Surfer 10, Grapher 9, or MapViewer 7.  Voxler 2's sample scripts are located at C:\Program Files\Golden Software\Program\Scripts.
Online Support Forum:
  • The support forums are a great resource to find past script examples, or request script help from the experts of each program.
Script Recorder:
  • Grapher 9 has a script recorder.  You could record a script if you are unsure of how to create the script by hand.
  • A Golden Software Newsletter article was written to explain how to utilize this useful feature:
  • Surfer, MapViewer, and Voxler do not have script recorders at the moment.  You are welcome to submit a request for this feature in the program by using the Help | Feedback | Suggestions command.
