When you choose to create a post map, the IDs for the individual points are preserved internally. They cannot be individually edited from within Didger and they cannot be used to label the individual points within the post map object, but they will be exported.

You can also assign IDs to the post map object itself after it is created, by entering the IDs in either the Data Manager or the Property Inspector. These IDs for the post map object are used to label the post map, but they are not exported.

If you want to import the points and label them with their individual IDs, do not check the "Create Post Map" check box in the Import Data File dialog when importing the data.
