Yes! You can save your contour level information as a level file [.LVL] and load it at for use at a later time. The easiest way to create a level file containing contour level information
is from the contour map properties dialog.
- In the contour map properties dialog, change any of the
contour parameters, including the contour levels, line properties, fill
properties, contour labels, and hachure information.
- After changing the settings,
click the Save button on the Levels page in the contour map properties dialog.
- In the Save As dialog, type the name of the level file
and click OK. The level file is saved with an [.LVL] extension.
To use a level file with any contour map, click the Load button on the Levels page. All contour maps using the level
file must have comparable Z data ranges, otherwise contour lines and fill will
not appear on the map.
