Yes!  You can save your contour level information as a level file LVL and load it at for use at a later time.

The easiest way to create a level file containing contour level information is from the contour map properties dialog.

  1. Select the Contours layer in the Object Manager.
  2. In the Property Manager, go to the Levels tab.
  3. Set the Level method to Advanced.
  4. Click the Edit Levels button.
  5. In the Properties dialog, change any of the contour parameters, including the contour levels, line properties, fill properties, contour labels, and hachure information.
  6. After changing the settings, click the Save button.
  7. In the Save As dialog, type the name of the level file and click OK. The level file is saved with an LVL extension.

To use a level file with any contour map, click the Load button in the contour Properties dialog. All contour maps using the level file must have comparable Z data ranges, otherwise contour lines and fill will not appear on the map.
