1. Go to
Start | Run.
2. Use one of the following. Replace the [drive letter] and [path] with a drive letter and
path on your computer. The path to the log file cannot contain
spaces. The download file name is subject to change.- For a local installation from the CD, type:
- "[drive letter]:\[path]\setup.exe" /V"/L* [drive
letter]:\[path]\S8.log"
- For a network installation from the CD, type
- "[drive letter]:\[path]\setup.exe" /a /V"/L*
[drive letter]:\[path]\S8.log"
- For a local hard drive installation from a downloaded
installation file, type:
- "[drive letter]:\[path]\surfer80639.exe" /V"/L*
[drive letter]:\[path]\S8.log"
3. Click
OK. After the installation process terminates, the log file is
created in the path you specify. Please send the log file to surfersupport@goldensoftware.com along with the installation message text.
