When you open an SDG file in Strater 1, only the borehole view that was opened when the file was saved is opened. All the other borehole views are closed. They are still there, saved in the project, they are just not opened.
To open the other borehole view, go to View | Borehole Manager. The Borehole Manager will open with all the borehole views listed in it. Double click on any of the borehole views to open it.
Strater 2 automatically opens the SDG file with all the borehole views opened.
