Sometimes, the property manager or another manager window will disappear from view. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including being physically dragged off the screen or tabbed with another manager.
When this happens, and View | Managers | (manager type) does not force the window to reappear, there are three ways to return the program to the default location for the manager layout:
Option 1: In many of our current programs, there is a command to restore the windows to their default locations. Choose View | Reset Windows (or View | Reset Docking Windows in MapViewer). You will need to close and reopen the program for the change to take effect. All manager windows should again be visible. Option 2: Uninstall and reinstall the program. This may reset the registry items to the defaults, including the manager positions. Option 3: Edit the registry. Since altering the registry incorrectly can cause the program to not run correctly or the machine to not boot, it is highly advised that this procedure be used by expert users only. Please contact Golden Software for more information on this method.

Procedure for editing registry:
1. Go to Start | Run. Type in "regedit" without the quote marks.
2. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Open Software, open Golden Software and then open Grapher. Locate the 6.00 key (if this is for Grapher 6). Select this key and choose Edit | Delete.
3. Close the registry and reopen Grapher. The managers should appear in a stacked location on the right of the screen.
