We have a few CLR files that may work for bathymetry data. Please see attached three files. Two include blue to white scales of different shades, and one produces blue shades (bathymetry data) and green/yellow shades (land data).

To load a CLR file into a contour map in Surfer 10:
  1. Select the Contours layer in the Object Manager.
  2. In the Property Manager, go to the Levels tab.
  3. Click on the right of Fill colors.
  4. Click the Custom button at the bottom of the drop down list.
  5. In the Colormap dialog, click Load.
  6. Select the CLR file you wish and click Open.
  7. Click OK.
To load a CLR file into a contour map in Surfer 9:
  1. Double click on the contour map
  2. Go to the Levels tab
  3. Click on the Fill button
  4. Click on the Foreground Color button.
  5. In the Color Spectrum or Colormap dialog, click Load.
  6. Select one of the attached CLR files (or any other you might have) and click Open.
  7. Click OK, OK, and OK.
