To change the Grapher default export format use the following steps.
In Grapher 7:
- Close Grapher completely.
- Open Windows Explorer and browse to the main Grapher directory. In Grapher 7, this is c:\Program Files\Golden Software\Grapher7 by default.
- Open the Grapher.INI file.
- In the [Output Processors] section, highlight the export format that you would like to be the default. Cut and paste it to the top of the list. The items are in the order they will appear in the drop down list in the Export Plot dialog. The top item is the default format.
- Save and close the INI file.
- When you open Grapher the next time and go to File | Export, the new default will be shown.
In Grapher 8 or Grapher 9:
- Close Grapher completely.
- Open Windows Explorer and browse to the main Grapher user directory, C:\Program Files\Golden Software\Grapher 9 or C:\Program Files\Golden Software\Grapher 8
- Open the gsio.ini file.
- In the [ExportFilters] section, highlight the export format that you would like to be the default. Cut and paste the entire line to the top of the list. The items are in the order they will appear in the drop down list in the Export dialog. The top item is the default format.
- Save and close the INI file.
- When you open Grapher the next time and go to File | Export, the new default will be shown.
