Q. I went to Help | Check for Update and downloaded the update. However, I had to cancel the installation. Do I have to download the file again, or is it saved somewhere on my hard drive?
A. If the download of the EXE file was successful and completed, it is saved to your hard drive. The location depends on your Operating System. For example:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Golden Software\Surfer 10
Windows Vista and 7: C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Golden Software\Surfer 10
Just navigate to that folder and double click on the EXE file to begin the update procedure.
