| How can I convert the column headings in the worksheet from letters (A, B, C...) to numbers (1, 2, 3...)? | |||||||||
There is not a way to convert the alphabetic column headings in the worksheet to numeric headings. To add your vote to this request on our suggestion file, please email surfersupport@goldensoftware.com. As a workaround, you can insert a row of numbers at the top of the worksheet. To do this: 1. Open
the worksheet in Surfer. 2. Highlight
row 1 and go to Edit | Insert to insert a blank row at the top of the
worksheet. 3. Go to
Data | Transform. 4. Set
the Transform with to Row variables. 5. Enter
the Transform equation to _1=row() 6. Enter
the First col and Last col (by letter):
7. Click OK and row 1 is populated with the consecutive numbers. |
