The “The requested operation requires elevation” error indicates that you do not have elevated privileges (ie. you are not running the setup.exe file as administrator, which is different than logging into the computer as Administrator).  Windows Vista and Windows 7 allow you to log onto the computer with administrator rights, and also to run program as administrator. In some cases, you need to do both.

If you are installing from the CD, please try:

1.       Make sure you are logged into the computer as Administrator.
2.       Navigate to the folder that has the program installation files in it, which may be your CD-ROM drive.
3.       Right click over setup.exe and select “Run as administrator” from the pop up context menu.
4.       Continue the installation as normal.

If you are downloading the installation EXE file, please try:

1.       Make sure you are logged into the computer as Administrator.
2.       Go to the download site for the program and download the installatioun EXE file. When prompted to either Run or Save the file, click Save to save it to your hard drive.
3.       Once the EXE file is downloaded to your hard drive, right click over the EXE file and select “Run as administrator” from the pop up context menu.
4.       Continue the installation as normal.
