This newsletter features Philippe Lemoyne, Professional Engineer, and Martin Page, Professional Chemist, of Services Enviro-Mart, Inc. and their use of Voxler.

Services Enviro-Mart, Inc. is a soil and underground water decontamination service company located in Quebec, Canada. Their services include the elimination of organic contaminants and odors. Enviro-Mart utilizes a revolutionary technology, Cool-Ox™, to treat the contaminants. The technology is typically less expensive and invasive than remediation via excavation.

Customer Spotlight: GeoMathics One Finds Voxler Advantageous

Cornell David, Manager and Senior Geophysicist at GeoMathics One, a geological and geophysical service company located in Bucharest Romania, first encountered Golden Software products in 1990.

GeoMathics One uses Voxler to display an assortment of geophysical data including 3D chemical distribution and 3D geophysical data acquired with Electrical Resistivity Tomography systems. David states, “I’ve appreciated Voxler from the beginning. Voxler gives you the ability to plan a 3D geophysical investigation.”

Customer Spotlight: Dr. John Hall Uses Surfer For Geological Purposes

Golden Software customers possess a broad assortment of backgrounds from earth sciences and engineering to education and politics. This vast background results in a variety of uses for Golden Software’s products. Each customer uses the software in a unique way, and we are pleased to share these stories. This blog features Dr. John Hall of the Geological Survey of Israel and his use of Surfer.

Dr. Hall is a marine geophysicist and doctoral graduate from Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Geological (now Earth) Observatory. Upon the completion of his doctorate, he worked for the Geological Survey of Israel until his retirement at the end of 2005. His research includes global tectonics, offshore geophysical surveys, and compilations of detailed gridded topography for Israel and neighboring areas. Although Dr. Hall is retired, he continues to utilize Golden Software’s own contouring, gridding, and 3D surface mapping program, Surfer.

Using Strater to Display Geochemistry and Geology of the Nyac District, AK

The Nyac placer district, where more than 600,000 ounces of placer gold were produced, is located 40 miles south of Aniak and 60 miles east of Bethel in Alaska. Under a mining lease with Calista Corporation, Nyac Mining Company has operated a mobile dryland washing plant in the area since 1990. In 2006, Nyac Mining Company was presented an award by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources for Outstanding Reclamation of Placer Mining Activity on several creeks in the area.

Richard Flanders, Project Manager for Nyac Gold LLC on the Nyac Project, uses Strater to display geochemistry, geology, alteration and mineralization data from the drill holes.
