Didger 2 FAQs
Version 2.05 (November 1, 2000)
- Updated the distribution code to properly use the GSI TVP
filter.(4.0.0.19)
- Included the new version of GSI E00 import filter. Corrects
problems related to E00 files not properly importing with a Lambert projection.
- Included new GSI SHP export that now sets ZLEVEL information
as numerical and not text.
- The layer manger would allow the user to create more than
the maximum number of 255 layers. Modified the code to prevent the user from creating more
than 255 layers.
- Corrected the code to properly create the new object on the
middle layers.
- Updated the export code to properly export text positions
and attributes from bitmap(raster) projects. When exporting text to DXF or MIF file types,
the text positions would be incorrectly positioned and in some instances the text size
would be too large.
- Added code to remove the creation of calibration markers
when creating a Surfer Basemap object.
- Including a new symbol set with the distribution: GSI
Geologic Symbols.

polygons in a single object).
- Corrected a problem with the data import filter not properly
parsing double quotes out of text strings.
Version 2.03 (August 2, 2000)
- Changing projection from Unprojected Lat/Long to
Gauss-Kruger will no longer give Didger error.
- Corrected a problem with the TVP import filter not
specifying the correct datum for certain ddf files. The import filter will now determine
if the datum is NAD27 or NAD83 and specify the datum accordingly.
- Didger now always properly snaps polyline segments.
- When importing a GeoTIFF that was created in Didger, the
coordinates are now correct.
- Updated version of the GSB, MIF, SHP, and DLG import filters
has been included with this release.
- Corrected a number of instances where Create Polygons by
Locator would fail.
