Employment with Golden
Software
Patrick Madison, who started the company out
of his home in Golden in 1983, is still the President of Golden Software.
The corporate offices are located in downtown Golden, at 809 14th
Street, immediately adjacent to the Colorado School of Mines campus. The
company now employs fifteen people, most of those being software
developers and customer support engineers. Beginning in 1996, Pat decided
to offer his employees telecommuting options. The initial trial worked so
well that at this point almost all of the technical staff work out of home
offices, with company-supplied equipment and extra telephone lines for
voice and data.
Golden Software is an innovative employer,
offering its staff competitive salaries and benefits packages, outstanding
working conditions, and exciting technical challenges.
