Q1. What is the latest version?
A.  The most recent versions of all of our programs are located www.goldensoftware.com/supportsummary.shtml#stat. 

Q2. How can I get the latest version of Grapher?
A.  Minor updates (e.g. version 7.3 to 7.4) may be downloaded for free if your serial number is registered. Connect your computer to the Internet, then click the Help | Check for Update command in Grapher. This will download the latest patch and install it on your machine. Information about the latest version is listed on the Version History page. 

If you experience any problems with this command or would like to download the full version of the updated software, please email your registered Grapher 7 serial number to graphersupport@goldensoftware.com. Once your serial number is verified, we will send you download instructions.

Major upgrades (e.g. version 6 to version 7) cost US$119 plus shipping. Refer to the order form for more information.

Q3. Where can I find my serial number?
A.  The serial number is on the registration card glued on the inside front cover of your Getting Started Guide, or in the download instructions you received when you ordered the software. Please complete the registration card and return it to Golden Software or register online at our web site. After you install Grapher and run it for the first time, you can also find your serial number by opening the software and going to Help | About Grapher. The About Grapher dialog box will show the serial number.

Q4. Where can I find a list of fixes and changes between versions?

Q5. What are the system requirements?
A.  Grapher system requirements are available at http://www.goldensoftware.com/products/grapher/grapher-systemrequirements.shtml. 

Q6. How do I install or uninstall Grapher?
A.  To install Grapher, you must be logged onto the machine as Administrator. To install from CD, insert the CD and click the “Install Grapher” link. To install from a downloaded EXE file, double click on the EXE to begin installation.

For additional information regarding installation, refer to the readme.rtf file.

To uninstall Grapher, use the Windows Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs. Select Grapher 7 in the list of programs.

Q7. Do I need to uninstall an older version of Grapher before installing a new version?
A.  No. You can have multiple copies of the program on your computer as long as they are installed into different directories. By default, they are installed into separate directories.

Q9. Is technical support free?
A.  Yes, technical support is free to all users for as long as you own the product. You must register your product in order to receive technical support. You can reach technical support by phone, fax, or email.

Q10. Does Grapher run under Windows Vista?
A.  Yes, Grapher runs under Windows Vista. For best results, run the program as Administrator.

Q11. One of my manager windows has disappeared! What can I do to get it back?
A.  Grapher 7 added a new command that will reset manager windows to their default positions to address this issue. Choose View | Reset Windows. Click OK in the dialog prompting you to restart Grapher. Save any open Grapher files and choose File | Exit. When you reopen Grapher, all of the manager windows will be back in their default positions.
