"Magnetization Curve"

This is a Magnetization, or "B-H," curve of a common silicon steel alloy used in electric motors. It was created in Grapher 3.0 for the Lamination Steels Research Project which is studying the magnetic properties of these metals at high frequencies. I used Grapher to make about 80 such graphs; these were exported as wmf files to a layout program and then distilled into Acrobat for publication in our Lamination Steels Second Edition CD-ROM. Grapher is a superb graphing program; our project called for extremely high quality graphs with very fine resolution and Grapher came through with flying colors. The Lamination Steels Research project is a research program of The Electric Motor and Education Research Foundation, www.smma.org/emerf.htm .
