Resistivity and Lava Flow
Investigated in Quarry
|
Triassic basalt lava flow, buried
under quaternary loess, investigated as a potential rock exploitation in a
quarry. Resistivity from smooth VES, as text files, were loaded as input.
VolRender, Isosurface at 500 ohm m, Contour map, Axes, and ScatterPlot are the
Voxler graphics outputs used to compose this image. Submitted by Cornel David,
Senior Geophysicist, Manager, GEOMATHICS ONE, a Romanian geological and
geophysical company,

3D resistivity model of a quarry with a Triassic
basalt lava flow (mauve section above) created in Voxler 2 and
displayed with a VolRender, Isosurface, Contour, Axes, and ScatterPlot.
