- The Territory Manager display no longer scrolls back to the top after assigning an object to a territory.
- Added the ability to sort objects by polygon direction by clicking on the column header in the Object Manager.
- It is now possible to delete a specific territory, rather than just the last one.
- Previously, MapViewer did not allow objects with no data to be assigned to a territory. This is now permitted. If the Save Territory Assignments command is used, any objects missing from the data file will be added at the bottom.
- It is now possible to export a map when the only thing visible is an inset.
- If the Add to Territory command is activated in repeated-use mode, the command will no longer be cancelled by changing the active territory.
- Added an option to the Gridding page of the Contour Map, Gradient Map, and Vector Map dialogs to keep the gridding options even if the data settings change. In automation, added a corresponding KeepGridOptions property to the ContourMap, GradientMap, and VectorMap objects.

- Previously, the Data | Transform command in the worksheet only operated on columns (e.g., C = A + B). It has been enhanced to now operate on rows and on individual cells. For row operations, prefix the row number with an underscore character (e.g., _3 = _1 + _2 will add row 1 and row 2 and store the result in row 3). Use conventional spreadsheet notation for cell operations (e.g., C3 = A1 + B2).
- The Data | Transform command has been enhanced to support string comparison and assignment.
- In automation, the WksDocument object has a new TransformEx2 method for accessing the new transform capabilities. The Transform method continues unchanged for compatibility with existing scripts.
- In automation, the WksCellFormat object has a new SetDateTimeFmtType method for controlling date and time formatting.

MapViewer 6.2.25 (September 2, 2005)
- Added support in automation for printing with the Current View print method. The MVPrintMethod enumeration has a new value mvView, and the PrintOut() method accepts this value.
- Previously, the page units shown in the Property Inspector remained in inches even if the units were changed to centimeters in Tools | Options. This has been corrected.
- Improved the Curve to Area with Shared Border command to avoid creating a self-intersecting area.

- When creating a Territory Map or a Cartogram Map, if the default PID or data columns were invalid, no error message was issued like is done with the other types of thematic maps. This has been corrected.
- Corrected a problem where the CreateFlowMap() method would issue an exception when using the mvFlowConnectEnds flow method.

- When building a query string by choosing items from the Object Data Column or Object Attribute lists, strings were not enclosed in quotes as required. The code as been modified to include quotes where needed.
- Lengths and areas shown in the Object Attribute query list are now displayed using the same numeric format as in the Object Manager.
- Numeric quantities shown in the Object Data Column query list are now displayed in the worksheet's general numeric format.
- Corrected a problem where closing a territory map would prompt to save the changes even when no changes had been made.
- Corrected a problem where setting the Application object's ShowToolbars property to 0 would also turn off the document tabs.

- Corrected a problem where a scaled picture pattern height and width could become zero if the original bitmap pattern was small and the Best Viewing DPI was large.

- Keyboard shortcuts have been added to allow zooming in or out. Hold down the Ctrl key and press the "+" key on the numeric keypad to zoom in or the "-" key to zoom out.

- Saving in GIF format to a path + filename that's > 128 characters now works.
