Version 5.01 (October 1, 2003)
- Updated the help file to include
additional documentation on the automation capabilities in MapViewer.
- Added a RecordsInRegions automation
method to the Layer object to correspond to the Analysis | Records in
Regions menu command.
- When exporting to a bitmap format, it is
now possible to save the spatial reference information.
- Several changes have been made to the
appearance and formatting of legends.
- Fixed an assertion error that occurred
when importing a GeoTIFF containing exactly two tiepoints.
- Importing a second .gsm containing
vertices that could not be converted to the current projection could
produce odd results. Any such vertices are now removed.
- Starting MapViewer from a script would
cause it to briefly flash on the screen. Now it will not be displayed
until the Visible property has been set to True.
- Fixed a problem where exporting a pie
map to a DXF file would have a small, missing wedge if a pie variable
had a value of zero.
- MapViewer did not correctly handle a DXF
file that was missing the extent information in the header. This has
been corrected.
- Corrected a problem with creating a pin
map with labels, if the label column had a missing value.
- Fixed a problem with creating a buffer
zone around a curve that occurred when the curve’s end points were
very close to each other.
- Deleting unlinked data from a worksheet
would also delete a header row, if present. The header row is now
maintained.
- Corrected the bounding box calculation
for lines with arrow heads.
- Fixed a problem where post map labels on
a prism map were not printed.
- Added a ShowThemeOfHiddenShape parameter
to the ShowByType automation method of the Shapes collection.
- Renamed the parameters of the FillFormat
object's SetPatternAndType method from SetPatternAndType([in] BSTR
bstrPatternName, [in] enum MVPatternType PatternType) to
SetPatternAndType([in] BSTR PatternName, [in] enum MVPatternType Type)
to avoid conflict with the property name PatternType.
- Renamed the enumeration mvQueryRegion to
mvQueryRegions to avoid a conflict with the parameter name.
- If a layer containing a graticule is
deleted, the graticule now moves to another layer.
- Enabled the choice of background mode in
a hatch map color spectrum when using a vector fill pattern.
Previously, the background mode could only be chosen when using a
stock fill pattern.
Version 5.0 (December 16, 2002)
