Pacific.EXE Pacific.EXE contains two files, pacificn.gsb and pacificp.gsb. Both Golden Software boundary files are views of the world with a Pacific Ocean focus. Using these maps requires adjusting your data values. Pacificn.gsb contains a map with coordinates ranging from approximately -360 to 0 (left to right). The Eastern Hemisphere contains adjusted coordinates (-360 to -181) and the Western Hemisphere contains the correct coordinates (-180 to 0). To use your data with this map, subtract 360 from positive (east) longitude values. For example, 75E longitude would be converted so that (+75) - (+360) = -285. Pacificp.gsb contains a map with coordinates ranging from approximately 0 to +360 (left to right). The Eastern Hemisphere contains the correct coordinates (0 to +180) and the Western Hemisphere contains adjusted coordinates (+181 to +360). To use your data with this map, add 360 to negative (west) longitude values. For example, 100W longitude would be converted so that (-100) + (+360) = +260.
