Golden Software Celebrates 32 Years in Business with a 32% Discount!

Golden Software is excited to celebrate 32 years in business this March!

It all started in 1983 when Colorado School of Mines computer science instructor Pat Madison and mining graduate student Dan Smith developed Golden Software's first product, PlotCall, which transformed plotter instructions into dot-matrix instructions. PlotCall opened the doors of computer graphing and mapping to many users who did not have access to more expensive hardware, such as mainframe computers and plotter printers. That was only the beginning! Today, Golden Software develops, sells, and supports six data visualization software applications, Surfer, Grapher, Voxler, Strater, Didger, and MapViewer! Our products are used worldwide in a variety of industries.

We wouldn't have an anniversary to celebrate if it wasn't for you, our dedicated users! To say "Thank you," we're offering 32% off all full package purchases* during the month of March! To take advantage of this offer, enter the promo code Happy32 during checkout.

We value your input! We are always striving to improve our software, and most of those improvements come straight from users like you! Do you have an idea to make our products more useful, user-friendly, or robust? Let us know! Leave a comment, submit a suggestion from Support Central, or email me at
