MatchMapper: Map to the Geoscientist’s Heart

The love game has changed over the past few years. Gone are the days of courting in the parlor room. With our go-go-go lives, there is no time to organically meet someone at a coffee shop, bar, church or recreational activity. Nowadays, the key to love is in the palm of your hand—your smart device! Begin by filling out your GeoLove questionnaire. In addition to the standard physique and interests questions, you’ll also indicate your field of work in the geosciences, which rocks and minerals you identify with most, field work location, and more! You’ll rank these attributes in order of importance to you, and MatchMapper will create your StrataFile. MatchMapper will use its patented LoveRocks algorithm to match your StrataFile to the StrataFiles of potential partners to create CompatiSections.

When you go to your MatchMapper MatchMap, the app will use GPS information from your device to find your location. You can enter a search radius, or allow for searches in all locations. Scroll around the map to find potential matches in your area! When you click on a match, you can view your CompatiSection to see just how compatible you two are! Once you’ve set a date, your MatchMap will determine the best route to the location you’ve agreed upon. Please be vigilant along your journey though; MatchMapper Router is still in beta!
