What you’ll do:

You will be the leader for a team of skilled, creative, intelligent, and committed software developers and product managers. You will help the team define the vision and goals for a better future and guide them to make the vision real. You’ll craft the strategies and build the frameworks for us to find success. Your main points of accountability are as follows:

• Provide leadership, management, and accountability for the product team

• Develop the product vision that helps achieve the company’s mission and evangelize the team to that vision

• Create an effective product strategy informed by the right data, information, and experience

• Generate business success by creating value for our customers

• Drive the philosophy of product-led innovation as the strategy through which we achieve the vision

Skills and requirements

• Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and leading and retaining members of high-performing teams – this includes setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of growth

• Fluency in creating a team environment where input is actively sought and valued

• Expertise in defining product strategies that align with overall business goals, market trends, and customer needs

• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire product development lifecycle

• Skill in influencing and managing expectations of various stakeholders

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Sufficient understanding of the various areas in software product development to be able to lead and manage across the product team, including,

  • development processes, technical feasibility, and architectural considerations to effectively provide direction for software developers

  • user experience, user interface design principles, product and customer discovery, prioritization, planning, problem and value definition to effectively lead product managers and designers

• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and make informed product decisions.

• Proficiency in defining, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure product success and progress towards goals.

The target salary range for the Head of Product role is set at $140,000 – $200,000. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, taking into account their skills, qualifications, and other pertinent factors.

This is a full-time remote position with optional team events held in the Golden, CO area. Travel for in-person team and company meeting attendance will be required 2-4 times per year.
