Derek Casey
IT Operations Administrator
Derek Casey joined Golden Software in 2025 as the IT Operations Administrator. He has a background in supporting remote-based organizations in Executive Assistant and Cybersecurity Specialist roles and is now further specializing in IT Ops with Golden Software. Derek previously studied Cybersecurity at Whatcom Community College and is now attending Washington State University to study Management Information Systems as he continues his IT Operations and cybersecurity specialization.
Derek is also a songwriter and musician and is heavily involved in music production and audio engineering in his personal life. He currently lives in Bellingham, WA, and can usually be found in his music studio, tinkering with systems, reading/gaming, or hanging out with his family watching movies and having podcast-worthy conversations.
